We are looking for energetic Business Development Associates to help drive our sales and grow the business. You will attract new customers and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, and identifying new business opportunities. We seek individuals with a track record of performance and who are resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our services and products. A background in government sales or marketing is strongly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related discipline.
  • At least four years of experience in industry, business development and/or research and sales/marketing.
  • Experience in government contracting is required.
  • A background in sales or communication is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter who recognizes opportunities and responds proactively.
  • Experience developing sales plans, marketing plans, presentations and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience working with internal and external organizations to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to keep pace with multiple activities without missing deadlines.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.
  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision to accomplish objectives.
