Responsibility

The Project Manager will be responsible for seeing that all life safety code surveys are conducted in accordance with current regulations and that survey team members complete related documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Managing and coordinating the scheduling of initial, complaint, special investigations.
  • Scheduling and ensuring completion of all surveys within allowable time frames
  • Providing timely reports, including changes in schedule or staffing, and notifying the customer and Project Director of survey results in a timely manner
  • Developing a flexible method for deploying staff on an as needed basis to conduct special request surveys that may not lend themselves to advanced scheduling.
  • Maintaining Ascellon’s orientation program and training for new surveyors. This program will prepare survey staff to demonstrate acquired knowledge and skills by performing effectively.
  • Coordinating the development of training materials on the survey process and related survey activities.
  • Coordinating and scheduling opportunities for new surveyors.
  • Implementing a rigorous quality control program to ensure that the data collected in a timely manner for completeness and accuracy.
  • Working closely with customer’s representatives in making recommendations regarding findings.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly status reports to Project Director and customer describing project activities.
  • Managing logistics for survey teams that include assisting with coordination of travel, survey packets, survey confirmations, and any other tasks necessary to complete survey work.
  • Coordinating of Quarterly and Annual Reports.
  • Recruiting personnel, including surveyors and administrative staff.
