Location: Landover, MD

Base Pay: $44,000 - $51,000

Employment Type: Full-time

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Responsibility

The Project Coordinator position is an entry level opportunity to prepare the right individual for a position in project management within the company. The Project Coordinator will be required to develop and demonstrate knowledge of the company’s projects and customers; leadership skills; attention to detail; and time management capabilities. The position provides support on assigned projects and tasks by coordinating communications, providing project status reports, updating files and maintaining project meeting calendars. The position is critical to project success and requires the individual to be professional, flexible, and dependable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of project support experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Significant experience in environments where attention to detail is a key requirement.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Must have experience creating, reviewing, editing & formatting documents (e.g., proposals, manuals, presentations, etc.).
  • Must have solid grammar and punctuation skills, including the ability to compose emails and letters that are grammatically correct and properly formatted.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to compile and organize simple data from records and reports.
  • Demonstrated track record of cooperation, flexibility and customer service.
